Planned Parenthood CEO Dayle Steinberg Lies about Gosnell

I suppose if you're in the business of slaughtering the unborn, telling a lie isn't that big of a deal.

Nonetheless, Dayle Steinberg, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania, has been exposed in a lie.

From LifeNews:

The CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania has been caught lying about whether her abortion business know of the horrors that took place at Kermit Gosnell’s abortion facility in her area. A pro-life blog uncovered the discrepancies today.

Planned Parenthood has already been connected to Kermit Gosnell in one way — via a grisly abortion experiment he conducted on women back in the 1970s. Now a previous denial of the horrors has been exposed.

In February 2010, at the time Gosnell’s abortion clinic was raided by officials and shut down, PPSP CEO Dayle Steinberg told a local news outlet that the Planned Parenthood abortion facility has no knowledge of the horrors that happened at Gosnell’s center.

Local media outlet WHYY reported at that time that Planned Parenthood had no foreknowledge: “Steinberg says she knows that Gosnell has provided abortions in Philadelphia for many years, but says she hadn’t heard of any problems at clinic until the allegations surfaced in recent days.”

“We do anticipate that women who might have scheduled appointments for abortion procedures at the Women’s Medical Society will be calling Planned Parenthood,” she said — attempting to paint a picture that it might suddenly become aware of the problems.

However, in an April 18 news report, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the Planned Parenthood CEO admitted in a fundraising dinner that the abortion giant knew of the problems. The paper reported: “Steinberg said that when Gosnell was in practice, women would sometimes come to Planned Parenthood for services after first visiting Gosnell’s West Philadelphia clinic, and would complain to staff about the conditions there.”

“We would always encourage them to report it to the Department of Health,” Steinberg said.
Steinberg lied about her knowledge of Gosnell's practice.

It's strange to point out her dishonesty as a problem when she's guilty of so much worse - promoting a culture of death as her life's work.

If she really cared about "women's health," then why didn't she blow the lid off Gosnell's clinic?

Did Steinberg understand that "mistakes" happen during abortions?

Is killing a baby born alive in a botched abortion standard operating procedure?

"Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you."
