When something horrible occurs, like the bombing in Boston, we hear a lot about prayers - #prayforboston.
Everyone seems to find religion.
Twitter becomes a prayer network.
A quick scan of #prayforboston shows the media, the rich, the famous, and the marginally famous reacting to the terror in Boston:
NBC Sports responds to the attack with #prayforboston.Based on the rate they're being posted, I assume there are thousands of tweets with the hashtag "prayforboston."
Jeremy Lin tweets to #prayforboston.
Snoop Dogg also reacts with #prayforboston.
Mariah Carey does the same.
Dr. Phil does, too.
Jackée Harry joins the #prayforboston team.
Eugene Kane is on the #prayforboston bandwagon.
I hope they're sincere. When people say they're praying, I hope they mean it.

Everybody wants to put #prayforboston on Twitter, but nobody wants to bow their head and say a prayer w/o anybody knowing.
