Brothers Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev are the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing.
The elder brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a firefight with police last night.
The younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is at-large.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Facebook page gives a glimpse into his "beliefs."
World view: IslamInteresting.
Personal priority: Career and money
He doesn't mention killing Americans as a personal priority.
The assumption circulated by American Leftists, including politicians and media outlets, that the Boston Marathon bombings were carried out by Right-wing extremists can now be officially put to rest.
About the brothers, from FOX News:
The brothers behind Monday's deadly bombing at the Boston Marathon are believed to have come to the U.S. from Chechnya as long as a decade ago, but apparently never fit in with the American culture.Although the brothers were in the U.S. for over a decade and came here as kids, they sought to kill innocent Americans and succeeded.
“I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them,” the older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed in a shootout with police hours after the pair was identified as suspects, told a photographer in 2009.
What drove him and his brother, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, who lived with him in Cambridge, Mass., to perpetrate the deadly attack — which killed three people and injured 176 others — is not clear. They are believed to be Muslim and to have had military training overseas. But the older brother, who was 26, also worked out in a gym and dreamed of making the U.S. Olympic boxing team, according to an online photojournalism slideshow that chronicled his training.
...Tamerlan previously studied at Bunker Hill Community College in hopes of becoming an engineer. He took off a semester from his studies to practice boxing at the Wai Kru Mixed Martial Arts Center in Boston.
His brother is believed to be the same Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who won a $2,500 scholarship in 2011 from the city of Cambridge, according to online records.
The father of the suspects, reached in Makhachkala, Russia, by The Associated Press, characterized his younger son as an intelligent and accomplished young man.
"My son is a true angel," Anzor Tsarnaev said. "Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here."
An uncle of the brothers, also reached by The Associated Press, said that the men lived together near Boston and have been in the United States for about a decade. They traveled here together from the Russian region near Chechnya, according to Ruslan Tsarni of Montgomery Village, Md.
The terrorist brothers are Muslims.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, now dead, proclaimed to be a devout Muslim, but he had an interest in hip hop.
From TMZ:
Tamerlan Tsarnaev has an email associated with the website, "Real-hiphop.com."Strange.
The site provides information about hip hop artists and upcoming DVD releases.
What's interesting ... hip hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women. Tamerlan Tsarnaev has a boxing profile in which he says he doesn't take his shirt off much because he doesn't want women to get bad ideas, adding, "I'm very religious." This statement is significantly more conservative than the hip hop genre.
Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev apparently had Islamist sympathies. They are terrorists and cold-blooded murderers.
I'm sure the American Left, including the White House, is crushed. They had such high hopes the American Right could be blamed. All that Tax Day, Patriots Day talk was wrong.
It's amazing to me that Dzhokhar, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth student, has managed to elude police for at least twelve hours.
I doubt Suspect 2 will get out of this alive, but...
if the bastard lives, there's always tenure

Um, religious extremists, of any stripe, ARE right-wing extremists? Or would you argue the left is more religious than the right.
That is stunningly illogical.
