Jimmy Fallon has been silent on Obama's scandals, until Wednesday's Late Night.
JIMMY FALLON: President Obama is not having a good week. With three scandals shaking the White House, they're saying that this is one of the worst weeks of Obama's presidency. Obama was like, 'How could things get worse?' And Joe Biden was like, 'You rang?'That's the best from Fallon's writers?
With all due respect, that sucks.
That awful "joke" was followed by a lame bit comparing recent Obama and Biden commencement addresses.
Three quotes from Obama's Ohio State address were put on screen and juxtaposed with three alleged remarks from Biden's University of Pennsylvania speech.
OBAMA - "We've seen courage and compassion, a sense of civic duty, and a recognition we are not a collection of strangers."How stupid!
BIDEN - "You should never take candy from a stranger. Unless it's Milk Duds. Those things are da bomb diggity!"
OBAMA - "While things are still hard for a lot of people, you have every reason to believe that your future is bright."
BIDEN - "My favorite thing about the future is Dippin' Dots."
OBAMA - "Incredible advances in information and technology...have the potential to change the way we do almost everything."
BIDEN - "I heard about scientists in Norway who are working on giving squirrels tiny cellphones to help them keep in touch. Or I might've dreamt that. Either way, cool, right?"
The Obama administration is drowning in major scandals and Fallon mocks Biden?
Fallon still hasn't addressed the mess in Washington and Obama's scandals. I wonder if the White House requested that Fallon spare Obama ridicule. After all, Michelle Obama is such a "good friend" of the show, and so is Obama.
I think it's more likely that Fallon and his team just couldn't bring themselves to deal with reality - that Obama's government has abused American citizens, allowed them to be killed in a terrorist attack, failed to uphold the Constitution, and lied, lied, lied.
Biden jokes? Unbelievable.
Fallon is no Johnny Carson.
