Do the Seattle May Day rioters realize how foolish they are?
From Twitchy:
"Capitalist pigs" yells the protester in a northface jacket and nikes. #seamayday

If you are smashing stuff up, yelling anti-capitalist slogans, wearing name brand clothing, and don't know why, it must be#SEAMayDay

I'm so tired of this.

When I was a young girl May Day was the day that my mom and I would pick flowers from our garden. We would then place them on unsuspecting neighbor's doorsteps, ring the doorbell and run away so they would not know who left them the bouquets.
Yes, we've come so far.. this new enlightened generation.. from giving flowers to celebrate May Day to violence and destroying others property. Such progress. Que the clueless punks. Forward.
My husband's office is right in the thick of this crap. After being caught in it last year, he had his office go virtual and work from home today. At some point the adults in the room are going to lose their patience with these brats. Can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
What a sweet memory!
It's sad, too.
You mention that the "adults in the room are going to lose their patience with these brats."
I've been thinking about this a lot recently. I'm concerned that too many of the "adults" are lost as well.
There's a lack of respect for others and their property. Your husband shouldn't have to be forced out of his office because of those "May Day" thugs.
The Golden Rule has been dismissed. Whatever happened to trying to be a good person and do what's right? It's important to have a conscience.
Oh, I forgot. There is no good or bad, right or wrong, better or worse anymore. There's just "different."
One exception: Conservatives are bad, wrong, and the worst.
