I do watch award shows, like the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, Tonys, and the Golden Globes.
I don't watch MTV's VMAs.
Here's why:
Get More:
2013 VMA, Artists.MTV, Music, Miley Cyrus
On Sunday night, I saw the VMAs trending on Twitter. I saw this video of Miley Cyrus, once upon a time America's Hannah Montana sweetheart.
Twenty-year-old Miley Cyrus made a fool of herself. Her performance was awkward and creepy.
She's pathetic.
Thirty-six-year-old Robin Thicke made a fool of himself, too.
No class. Yuck!
I chose not to spend Sunday evening watching a really trashy freak show, but Drudge and others are making sure that the entire country gets a glimpse.
I suppose it's good to expose the cultural rot in the U.S.
