The Packers are the NFC North Champs!
What an incredible game!
It's hard to reconcile such a miserable season with the NFC North title. No matter.
For the third straight year, the Packers have the title.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
The shouts cut through a silent night at Soldier Field, roared up from Green Bay Packers players leaping along the sideline and their fans punching their fists in the air up in the stands.Ticket information here.
And surely, those roars echoed in living rooms and dens and taverns across Wisconsin.
Did you see that? Can you believe it?
On Sunday night, Aaron Rodgers threw a football miracle.
He heaved a fourth-down, 48-yard touchdown pass to Randall Cobb with 38 seconds left to give Green Bay a come-from-behind 33-28 win over the Chicago Bears.
This was not just a fantastic finish on a cold winter night.
There was a flash of speed, brilliance and daring that gave the Packers (8-7-1) the NFC North title and a first-round playoff game Sunday at 3:40 p.m. at Lambeau Field against the San Francisco 49ers.
"It's two guys making a great, great play that will be running on the highlights the rest of my time on earth," Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said.
