Taylor Swift: Fallon and Meyers

For the second time this week, the Tonight Show and Late Night are sharing guests on consecutive nights.

Tuesday, Mickey Rourke was Jimmy Fallon's guest. Then on Wednesday, Rourke was Seth Meyers' guest.

Wednesday, Taylor Swift was Jimmy Fallon's guest.

Thursday, Swift was on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Obviously, the location of the shows, both in New York, is a factor here. When the Tonight Show was based in LA and Late Night was in New York, guests didn't show up on NBC late night talk shows on consecutive nights.

This happens regularly now.

Bad programming.
