Milwaukee Shootings: Violent Weekend

Will there be protests in response to the weekend shootings in Milwaukee?

At least seven shootings and one death took place.

No big deal?

Same old, same old?

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting Saturday night that killed a 39-year-old man, as well as three Sunday afternoon shootings that injured three men.

The homicide occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Auer Ave., where the victim was hit by gunfire while standing near the street.

...Sunday afternoon, Milwaukee police responded to three more shootings.

A 39-year-old West Bend man suffered a serious gunshot wound in the 3600 block of N. Teutonia Ave. at 4:16 p.m.

...At 12:21 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2800 block of N. 24th St. and found a 20-year-old Milwaukee man who said he was walking when he heard the sound of shots and realized he had been wounded.

...Three hours later, a 19-year-old man reported he was driving near N. 10th and W. Atkinson streets when he heard gunshots and realized he, too, was shot.

...The string of shootings brought the number of weekend shootings in Milwaukee to at least seven, including a man who was shot in a vehicle by a gunman in another vehicle.
Why is this violence accepted?

Where is the outrage?
