Baltimore Mom Beats Son on Live TV

While resorting to physical violence is far from an ideal approach, I understand the mother's outrage and respect her for expecting her son to behave properly, like not throwing rocks at police.

It's a bad situation. Everything is out of control, but at least the mother is objecting to her son's participation in the rioting.

Not advocating violence, but I am advocating parental involvement, something that is terribly lacking.

I get the feeling this mom understands there's no future in attacking police. That's not a solution.
