Officer Brian Moore and Thug Demetrius Blackwell

Twenty-five-year-old New York Police Officer Brian Moore died today. Saturday, while on duty, he was shot in the face by thug Demetrius Blackwell.

From CBS New York:

An NYPD officer who was shot in the head while sitting in an unmarked car Saturday has died.

Officer Brian Moore, 25, was in a medically induced coma after undergoing surgery shortly after the incident in Queens Village, CBS2’s Diane Macedo reported.

He was removed from life support at 11:15 a.m. Monday, sources said.

...The suspect in the shooting, 35-year-old Demetrius Blackwell, was ordered held without bail Sunday after appearing in Queens Criminal Court. He did not enter a plea to charges of attempted murder, charges that are expected to be upgraded.

Prosecutors planned to present the case to a grand jury before Blackwell’s next court appearance Friday.

Blackwell’s court-appointed lawyer, David Bart, said his client denied the charges, which also include assault and weapons offenses.

Blackwell, known on the street as “Hellraiser,” has nine previous arrests on his record, including charges of attempted murder, robbery, weapons possession and assault, authorities said. In 2013, he was arrested on attempted grand larceny charges. That same year, he was also charged with assault on a police officer.
On one hand, we have the finest. On the other hand, we have scum.

My heart breaks for the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Moore. My prayers are with them.

As for thug Blackwell, and all those engaged in anti-police activities and spewing anti-police rhetoric, including Obama, I don't know what to say.

Actually, I know exactly what I want to say, but words are inadequate.

Who is organizing the protests against Demetrius Blackwell and the thugs?

Will mobs take to the streets demanding justice for Brian?

Just wondering.

Brian Moore's life matters.
