Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 36)

The [Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 36)] seeks to stop brutal late-term abortions after 20 weeks, or 5 months of pregnancy, based on the child’s ability to feel excruciating pain.

The vote on this compassionate bill coincides with the two-year anniversary of the conviction of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a grisly abortionist who showed no compassion for his victims: He snipped the spinal cords of infants born alive during abortions.

...By passing H.R. 36, the pro-life House will make it clear that there is no difference between what Gosnell did to his victims and what late-term abortionists are doing to babies every single day in America.
