What a great start to the Super Bowl 50 season!
From the New York Times:
If the Green Bay Packers were worried about what life might look like without Jordy Nelson, then James Jones did plenty to allay those fears.
Jones, who had not played with the team since 2013 and was not on their roster last week, seemed like his old self as Aaron Rodgers threw four passes his way in a 31-23 victory over the Chicago Bears. Jones caught them all, including touchdowns of 13 and 1 yards. His second touchdown put the team up 17-13 and Green Bay held on to win in a game that was closer than some expected.
...Asked after the game if he was happy with his two-touchdown performance, Jones focused more on what could have been.
“I should’ve had three,” Jones told reporters. “I’m probably going to lose sleep over that.”
