SNL: Trump and Larry David

So, Donald Trump was heckled during his opening monologue as host of Saturday Night Live, except he wasn't.

From AP:

During Donald Trump's opening "Saturday Night Live" monologue, he was heckled by someone offstage calling him a racist.

But it was comedian Larry David, who moments earlier had performed his own impersonation of Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.

"Larry, what are you doing?" Trump asked.

"I heard if I did that I would get $5,000," said David with a shrug, echoing an offer reportedly made by pro-Hispanic groups protesting Trump's appearance.

"As a businessman, I can fully respect that," Trump said.
It's hilarious reading the reaction on social media to this obviously staged bit.

Larry David is so brave, blah, blah, blah.

The Leftist media are running with headlines blaring that Trump was called a racist during his monologue. Very deceptive. It was planned. It was intentional.

Yes, I'm sure the Leftists enjoyed David calling Trump a racist. It's a joke but the joke's on Trump because he really is a racist and everyone knows David wasn't kidding even though it was part of the script.

Whatever. The fact is Trump wasn't heckled at all. Trump knew it was coming and he was OK with it.

No one in the audience disrupted the live show. Nothing like that happened.

Bottom line: SNL was as bad and as unfunny as it usually is.
