I agree with Piet Levy's assessment. There was a sad element to the show, but it was celebratory as well.
It's not really fair to call Holy Holy a tribute band. Woody Woodmansey and Tony Visconti were participants in creating David Bowie's music. It's their music, too.
Of course, it's sad, thinking back on when I saw Bowie perform songs that were included in the set. There's no way to escape that.
Still, it was a very good night, more joyous than sad.
