Pepsi Boycott - James Woods

James Woods is an intelligent, entertaining guy.

I love that he's not afraid to stand up to the Hollywood liberals. He's not cowering in the corner, though I certainly understand why others do, not wanting to commit career suicide.

Woods' tweets are often funny and informative.

Why boycott Pepsi?

From Fortune:

When asked about impact of Donald Trump’s surprise presidential victory, PepsiCo chief Indra Nooyi did not mince words. Her daughters and some of her employees are “in mourning” over the election, said the CEO.

Speaking at the DealBook Conference in New York City on Thursday, Nooyi said she’s doing her best to reassure her girls—as well as many PepsiCo workers—about the future.

“I had to answer a lot of questions, from my daughters, from my employees, they were all in mourning,” said Nooyi, according to a CNBC report. “Our employees are all crying and the question that they are asking, especially those that are not white: ‘Are we safe?’ Women are asking, ‘Are we safe?’ LGBT people are asking, ‘Are we safe?’ I never thought I’d have had to answer those questions.”
From Forbes:
Just a day after the election of Republican Donald Trump, Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi took a hard line against some of the comments the next president made about women while on the campaign trail. Nooyi said the disparagement of women is a negative strain in the world that has to be ended.

“Forget about the Pepsi brand. How dare you talk about women that way,” Nooyi said on Thursday morning, referring to comments Trump made on the campaign trail and in an Entertainment Tonight video roughly a decade ago that surfaced in October. “If we don’t nip this in the bud it is going to be a lethal force in society,” Nooyi added, in comments made at the New York Times Dealbook Conference in Manhattan.

When asked about the election result, where Trump beat Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Nooyi responded, “is there a box of tissues here?”
Will I boycott Pepsi? I don't drink Pepsi or Pepsi products, so that's easy. I'm a Coke person.

I'm sure Noovi isn't afraid to hurt the brand by making political statements. I'm sure she assumes Pepsi is too big to fail.
