Penzey Attacks Trump Voters - AGAIN

Just three days before Christmas, Bill Penzey prefers to push politics rather his products.

From his email, December 22:

Subject line: Facebook—Now with added Hope

Sometimes when one of our customers forwards one of our emails, they send it to us as well. This note was added earlier today when one of our emails was forwarded by a customer to her cousin:

"Here's the email. And I'll send you another follow up one. Gives me more hope than reading FB!

Love you. "

The thing is, on our FB page, Hope is in the air. I thanked her for her support, but also encouraged her to check out what our Facebook page has become. Yes, at first we left the anger of those we don't like what we do on our page. But with time, I decided those who voted for an openly racist candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America have already done enough damage. There are an abundance of places for their voices. Our page is for those who support our cooking-inspired view that the future only gets better when you care for the people and the world around you.

With all the hecticness of the next few days, if you are in need of a recharge to your sanity, please spend a few minutes checking out the comments on our page. Even in these pre-holiday days, when every moment counts, I think you will find it time well spent. And if you like what you see, please like our page and share it with friends. And maybe even more importantly, please drop in now and again to share a comment. We are so appreciative of all the new cooks finding their way to us these last few weeks. As you read through the comments, I think you will see the value of voice that experienced Penzeys customers bring to the conversation as well.

Thanks,

Bill

Good grief.

So, the Penzeys Facebook page will censor comments from Trump voters, since they "have already done enough damage"?

Add another layer of insulation to that bubble.
