Laura Loomer Arrested After 'Julius Caesar' Protest

Laura Loomer and Jack Posobiec disrupted the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Julius Caesar on Friday night.

Laura Loomer was arrested.

Here's video:

I would not be happy if I were watching a play and someone jumped on the stage and interrupted the production. I would not be happy if a protester stood up in the audience and started shouting.

I won't condone this sort of protest.

Is depicting the assassination of the sitting U.S. president appropriate for Shakespeare in the Park?

No, especially given the level of toxicity of the current political environment in this country.

I do think the assassination attempt on GOP members of Congress was stoked by the Left's inability to accept the results of the election.

There is no way in hell President Hillary Clinton would have been killed in a Shakespeare in the Park production. Absolutely no way.

They won't accept that Donald Trump is the president and bad things are happening because of their meltdown.

I understand the frustration people have with the unhinged anti-Trump crowd. The way they encourage violence against Republicans is truly dangerous. Their rhetoric and their behavior is shameful. They are playing with fire.

It's right to speak out against them.

It's not right to interrupt a play.
