Camping World - CEO Marcus Lemonis and Mark Martin

From CNBC:

Serial entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis had some choice words on Wednesday about those who may support President Donald Trump's response to the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"There's no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don't shop at my business," said Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World and host of CNBC's "The Profit."

ORIGINAL STORY:

The NASCAR legend claimed on Twitter that he had an order in place with Camping World — the title sponsor for NASCAR’s truck series — for a $150,000, presumably beautiful new RV. But then Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, in response to president Donald Trump’s controversial post-Charlottesville, Va., rhetoric, invited supporters of Trump’s remarks to shop elsewhere last week.

Now, the company is without one of its most high-profile customers.

“First thing in the morning I will be canceling my order for 150,000$ RV I have ordered,” Martin posted Sunday in a since-deleted tweet. “Leave politics out of it.”

UPDATE (3:24 p.m. ET):

Mark Martin explained why he deleted his tweet on Monday, after he said he received a call from Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, who claimed his comments were “misrepresented.”
Lemonis called Mark Martin.

Apparently, when someone as high-profile as Martin expresses his displeasure with the comments from Camping World's CEO, it gets attention.

I think Lemonis is in damage control mode. Listen to Lemonis on CNBC. He trashes Trump and said he doesn't want the business of people in agreement with Trump.

Lemonis says he and other CEOs are "horrified by what we're hearing and seeing from this administration."

I think Martin is being very gracious, too gracious.

I've listened to Lemonis' comments again and again.

There's no misrepresentation.
