Susan Collins and Christine Ford

I hope that Dr. Ford will reconsider and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday. It is my understanding that the Committee has offered to hold either a public or a private session, whichever would make her more comfortable.

So, is Collins bullying Ford, like all those white men?

She thinks Ford should offer to testify either in a public or private session.

That's completely reasonable.

There is no reason for Ford to remain silent. It doesn't have to be a public circus. She doesn't even have to go to Washington. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley is willing to send staff to meet with her wherever she wants.

The Republicans are doing everything they can to accommodate her.

Ford isn't being bullied.
