Suddenly, "Fredo" has become an ethnic slur.
Referring to someone as "Fredo" is usually not a compliment. Being likened to a weak, incompetent, loser isn't a good thing, but it's nothing like hurling the N-word.
Chris Cuomo and his supporters at CNN are hypocrites.
Devin Nunes was referred to as “Fredo” on CNN in March. CNN’s David Gregory compared @DonaldJTrumpJr to “Fredo” in February. And in January, CNN’s Ana Navarro referred to @DonaldJTrumpJr as “Fredo”...to Cuomo on his own show. https://t.co/jXCUfFkYvs

Chris Cuomo didn't mind at all when Ana Navarro called Donald Trump Jr. "Fredo." She used the supposed ethnic slur on Cuomo's show.
.@ananavarro slams Don Jr. for likening border wall to zoo fence: He's an "entitled, rich, spoiled little brat whose only call to fame is being his daddy's son."

This clip makes it easy to understand why CNN has such dismal ratings.
In a 2010 interview with Curtis Sliwa, Chris Cuomo called himself "Fredo."
Bottom line: Cuomo is wrong when he claims that "Fredo" is like the N-word. It's not, not even close. He should apologize for that.
Cuomo's meltdown was completely out of line. He threatened to throw the guy down the stairs!
Cuomo was out of control, exploding with profanity and threatening physical violence.
There's no way his behavior can be defended. His reaction to the man's "Fredo" remark was totally disproportionate.
I don't question the appropriateness of Cuomo standing up for himself. The manner in which he did it was inexcusable. He completely lost it.
