The comments left on this tweet from Politico are truly disturbing. Mohammed Alshamrani killed and wounded Americans, but the outrage is directed at Bill Barr.

These people have lost their minds.

The shooting by a Saudi national that killed three American troops at a Pensacola Navy base last year was an act of terrorism, Attorney General William Barr announced today.

An investigation revealed that the gunman, Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, posted anti-American, anti-Israeli and jihadi messages on his social media, including a post on Sept. 11, 2019, saying “the countdown has begun” and another post just two hours before the shooting.

“This was an act of terrorism,” Barr told reporters. “The evidence shows the shooter was motivated by jihadist ideology.”

The Saudi national responsible for the attack was receiving flight training at Naval Air Station Pensacola. He killed three and wounded at least eight others on Dec. 6 before being killed by police. At the time, the White House said the shooting “appears to be a terrorist attack.”
