Robert Aaron Long killed eight people.
Six of his victims were women of Asian descent. Xiaojie Yan and Daoyou Feng were murdered at Young's Asian Massage Parlor in Cherokee County. A seventh woman killed, Delaina Ashley Yaun Gonzalez, was there with her husband, Elcias Hernandez-Ortiz. He was injured.
Four more women of Asian descent were killed at two other Atlanta-area massage parlors.
Paul Andre Michels was the only man killed in Long's rampage.

Michels' younger brother, John Michels, 52, said he believes his brother was "just in the wrong place at the wrong time." He said they grew up with a total of nine siblings in Detriot, riding dirt bikes and spending summer weekends at a lake and getting into mischief together. They both served in the U.S. Army at the same time and his brother served as an infantryman in the late 1980s.
...John said Paul Michels owned an alarm company in Atlanta, where he and his wife, Bonnie, have lived 26 years. "He was just a very hard-working Republican," John added, "and a very strong Trump supporter."

It's too early in the investigation to determine Long's motivation, but he claims he had a sexual addiction and may have been to some of the locations in the past.
We don't know Long's motivation, but we do know he killed eight people. Thoughts should be with the victims' families, not on how to capitalize politically on Long's horrific crimes.
