This is why "Waffle House" is trending on Twitter:
Back when Twitter was somewhat amusing rather than the cesspool it is now, "Waffle House" would regularly be a trending topic. It wasn't because of a specific event, like Sanderlin's situation. It would trend simply because people tweeted about Waffle House a lot. It happened very late at night and in the wee small hours of the morning. That was when a trending topic was legitimately what most people were tweeting about. Alas, Twitter became a propaganda machine to advance a certain agenda. "Waffle House" no longer was a leading trending topic. It was a time warp to see "Waffle House" trend, reminding me of the old days when what people actually tweeted about defined Twitter.I am coming to you live from a Brandon, Mississippi Waffle House. I, a total loser, came in last place in my fantasy football league. As punishment, I spend 24 hours in a Waffle House. Every waffle I eat shaves an hour off the clock. It’s 4:07 Central. pic.twitter.com/oRugzU7rQT
