The Olympics should not be in Beijing. I object to corporations profiting off the Genocide Games. I'm glad NBC's ratings are in the tank.
I did watch the men's figure skating on Wednesday. I don't want to boycott. Why punish myself? Why punish the athletes?
The athletes didn't choose the site. They shouldn't be penalized because the IOC, China, the corporate world, and the world in general are messed up. I'm sure they wish their families and friends were permitted to go and cheer them on. I'm sure they're not thrilled to be in Beijing. All of that is out of their control.
A stellar Olympic performance by an American athlete should be celebrated.
