Mike Pence has no chance of being the presidential Republican nominee in 2024.
He must know that. He should act like he understands that reality.
Maybe Pence can get back to Washington someday. Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney managed to make it to the Senate, thanks to President Trump's endorsement.
Of course, I don't think Pence would want President Trump's endorsement. It's a nonstarter since he'd never get it.
