Exactly 40 years ago today at 6:22 am…Early on a Sunday morning, Oct 23, 1983, two truck bombs sent by Iran backed Islamic Jihad & Hezbollah struck buildings in Beirut housing US and French service members. 220 Marines, 18 sailors, 3 US soldiers, 58 French troops were killed.
