It's interesting that Katie Couric uses "she" when referring to Sarah McBride but never calls the first openly transgender member of Congress a woman.
She uses the terms "congressperson" and "extraordinary human being." Why?
Why not "congresswoman" or "extraordinary woman"?
Some might consider that "rude," "bigoted," "nasty," "mean," "cruel," and "sh---y."
