Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia is lying about what he did. He didn't just criticize Elon Musk. He threatened a public official with physical violence. Garcia threatened Musk during a live interview on CNN. He said, "What the American public wants is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight. This is an actual fight for democracy." Accountability is necessary. There's nothing inappropriate about holding Garcia and Chuck Schumer responsible for their violent rhetoric. Actions have consequences.
