This was clearly an orchestrated stunt by Democrat Alex Padilla, meant to get attention so he could deliver these lame remarks:

Padilla says he stumbled upon Noem's press conference and simply "wanted to ask a question."

Padilla conducted himself like a threat and a thug so he was treated like a threat and a thug. It wasn't clear at all that he is a U.S. senator. His behavior certainly would have led one to believe that he intended to harm Kristi Noem. He resisted law enforcement.

Nothing to see here, just Alex Padilla pushing and shoving law enforcement officers as he tries to force his way up to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. When you disobey law enforcement, don’t be surprised if they put you on the ground and cuff you.

Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem.
