The violence and chaos in Los Angeles needed to be stopped. Gavin Newsom wasn't willing to act. He wasn't willing to stop the anarchists and professional agitators, and he wasn't willing to protect law enforcement.
President Trump decided he wasn't going to wait for a week as the rioting escalated. He wasn't going to sit back and watch as injuries and deaths and billions of dollars in damage occurred.
I don't know why Newsom and Karen Bass and Maxine Waters run cover for thugs and anarchists, but they do. In my view, they are abusing their power by failing to use it to protect law-abiding people and their property.
