Anchors Shift to Accent When Pronouncing Spanish Names

Newsmax host Rob Finnerty asks why anchors pronounce Spanish-sounding names with an accent, starts talking in an Irish accent to prove how ridiculous it is.

I agree.
Why not give Rob Finnerty a "Top of the mornin' to you" pronounciation? No one pronounces "Paris" as "Paree." Why not?
The goofy shifting into a pronounciation that includes an extreme Spanish accent should stop.
