Michael Kotlikoff claims to be protecting Cornell's females, but he's actually exhibiting a disturbing lack of respect for these women. One could say that Cornell is infantilizing its female students. President Michael Kotlikoff, following up on his maudlin video performance of Oct. 3, has just banned all fraternity social events for the remainder of the 2026-2027 academic year. Doing so is necessary, Kotlikoff said, to strengthen campus safety. This measure is wildly overinclusive. The number of “sexual assaults” (we will merely bracket the term for the moment) that would have come out of the dozens of future frat gatherings is minute to non-existent. The more efficient measure would have been to let females evaluate the risk of attending, and if they decide the risk is too high, boycott the parties. Or don’t show up roaring drunk. Or don’t get into bed with a guy whom you have no deep relationship with. Or don’t get into bed with a guy at all, unless you are engaged or, god forbid, married. But Kotlikoff is implicitly right about one thing: He is presiding over a bunch of helpless, nauseatingly self-pitying co-eds who eschew all personal agency and who thus appear to need Cornell’s intercession. Cornell’s females expect everyone other than themselves to safeguard them.

'My Rapist'
I agree. 'My rapist' is a very strange term. It's also strange to tell the story on TikTok. It's a very strange world. It’s extremely weird how women on TikTok use the phrase “my rapist.” You’d never hear the victim of any other crime speak that way. “My assaulter,” “my car jacker,” “my armed robber,” “my scammer.” That would sound totally bizarre, because it is. Very creepy and strange.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is unfit to be president of the United States. What AOC did here is despicable and pathetic even for her. it's a joke to think you posture as some sort of a national leader while you go around definitively, publicly proclaiming individuals guilty of horrific crimes before they've ever been charged with, let alone convicted… https://t.co/kP3ADbmvtl

It seems the more that comes to light, the clearer it becomes why prosecutors may have declined to bring charges.

It is indeed excellent. You'd think our media would have learned from the Duke lacrosse and UVa fraternity cases, but apparently not. Witness the top of the NYTimes web site home page today, dominated by stories about this case. https://t.co/s2JlEESPmS
