Authorities in Wisconsin were investigating a written threat against churches by an individual purporting to be Joseph Jakubowski, who police have been searching for since April 4.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday they were actively investigating the threat that was directed at churches in the Sussex area, according to Fox 6 Milwaukee.

The letter threatened violence on Easter Sunday.

...Meanwhile, Gov. Scott Walker canceled his annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday because over safety concerns while authorities search for Jakubowski.

A statement from Walker and first lady Tonette Walker says the couple is "sad to miss one of our favorite events."

The threat needs to be taken seriously, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come from Jakubowski.

I hope and pray the threat comes from someone just trying to disrupt services and create fear with no intention to do violence.

On Tuesday, April 4th, 32-year-old Joseph Jakubowski of Janesville, Wisconsin, mailed a 161-page manifesto to President Donald Trump. A video of him preparing and mailing the piece was then uploaded to social media.

Tuesday evening, Jakubowski robbed Armageddon Gun Shop, stealing approximately 16 firearms, allegedly including two semi-automatic rifles and several handguns. Jakubowski may have stolen gun suppressors as well.

...Shortly after the robbery, Jakubowski set his SUV on fire and abandoned it near Pennycook Road, Fox6 reports.

...ABC News reports that "Wisconsin authorities are working with the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Secret Service to find Jakubowski," who could not only pose a danger to anyone he encounters, but may have ambitions to harm high-level government officials, up to and including the President of the United States.
