Jay Leno Aids Flood Victims

On Monday's Tonight Show, Jay Leno announced that he will be doing shows in Las Vegas to benefit the flood victims in Iowa and the Midwest.

He will give 100 percent of the proceeds from his appearances at the Mirage Hotel in Vegas next Wednesday and Friday. The proceeds will go directly to the victims.

You know, folks, I'm sure you've seen on the news this horrible devastation in Iowa and the Midwest. People just seem to watch it, and we thought maybe next week on June 25th and 27th... The Mirage Hotel has been great. They're opening their doors, and we're going to do some shows to try to raise 150 grand or so to help out folks in Iowa. So, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to help the victims in Cedar Rapids or whatever. So that's next Wednesday and Friday.

Jay Leno is a class act.

I wish other entertainers would follow his lead.
