Wanda Sykes and Sarah Palin

At the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, Wanda Sykes didn't hesitate to be crude and cruel.

Of course, Sykes targeted Sarah Palin.

Transcript

WANDA SYKES: I know Gov. Palin... she's not here tonight. She pulled out at the last minute. You know, somebody should tell her that's not how you really practice abstinence.

That was met with laughter. But according to Ashley Parker, New York Times, "That drew a few boos, as well (perhaps from the First Dude, who went as the guest of Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren)."
SYKES: Oh, shut up. You're gonna be telling that one tomorrow. Shut up.

I think Sykes is right. People will be telling it.

However, not everyone will be repeating that "joke" because they think it's funny.

Palin wouldn't show up because she can't stand hearing the truth.

Is that what she told you?

Gus said...

No, I confess she didn't tell me that. She actually said, "I believe marriage is meant to be a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers."

How many Dems and Libs did Sykes dis?

That's what I thought.

These people are ugly. I just hope that they keep showing everybody what they are made of.

No, Palin didn't "actually" say that to you.

Tina Fey told ME that.

What she actually said was "I believe marriage is meant to be a sacred institution between a woman and Wanda Sykes."

Gus, I've got news for you. Governor Palin's absence from that event had nothing to do with hearing or not hearing the truth. It's because there's a flood in Alaska, and the good governor is busy trying to help the flood victims.

Which disaster victims have you helped lately, Gus? Given anything to the Red Cross lately? Given anything for the flood victims in Alaska? How about the tornado victims in Georgia and other parts of the country? Then there are the fire victims in California. What are you doing to help them?

Or I forgot, people like you don't waste their time in humanitarian endeavors. You're too busy with important things; like trying to spread a false picture of Sarah Palin, slandering her name, and being a hateful creep who tears down anyone who disagree with you.

Had the floods not come to Alaska, Sarah would have been there. Bottom feeders like you, Gus, would have found an excuse to condemn her for it, as you condemned her for not going. Decent people can't win with jerks like you.

Come to think of it, what has Wanda Sykes done to aid disaster victims lately? Funny how these Sarah haters like to throw stones at Sarah when she's doing good deeds, which deeds they don't do themselves.

It really wasn't that ugly, and it certainly wasn't very funny.

Sykes makes a sexual connection using the phrase "pulling out" - wow, what brilliance.

Why, oh why couldn't they get that nice boy Colbert again? He said such nice things about George.

BTW, Cecelia, the Correspondent's Dinner was a fundraiser for two food pantries. They raised $105,000 thanks to the efforts of Wanda Sykes and the others that were there.

The way the Left and the Leftist media attack Sarah Palin and her family is really ugly.

You certainly can't consider Sykes attacking Palin and connecting her lack of attendance to abstinence to be kind.

While raising $105,000 for food pantries is a good thing, that is a drop in the bucket.

Assuming you are providing an accurate figure, Grumps, I think that total is pathetic considering all the rich politicians, members of the media, and celebrities in attendance. They aren't very generous at all.

That's dramatically less than it cost to take the presidential plane on the photo op joyride.

The $105,000 would have been raised with or without Wanda Frickin' Sykes.

Mary said...

Exactly.

Wanda Sykes' "efforts"?

Now that's funny.

I think she is a very angry lesbian because her husband abandoned her. She lashes out at women who have beautiful marriages and tries to get others to hate them.

People like her debase our culture and really have no place in the public sphere. They belong in the gutter.

I don't think you're for real. I think you're a poser.

Your comment is so far over the top.
