Obama in Green Bay: The Opposition

Ticket information: Details here.

Obama will be in Green Bay on Thursday. Still nothing new on the details of his visit.

From the Green Bay Press-Gazette:

"More information on ticketing should be available early (this) week," he said. "We don't have details of how they will be distributed at this point, other than nearly all of them will go to the general public."

Brown County law enforcement officials met with the U.S. Secret Service on Friday to discuss operational details of the visit, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Department.

When Obama arrives, he will be greeted with some opposition.

Todd Lohenry, The Right Side of Wisconsin, is following the latest plans.

Don't know about Bader but here is what Wisconsin Interest Now put out.

-----------------

To Everybody In Wisconsin who wants to see Gov. Doyle RECALLED:

Wisconsin Interests Now (WIN) is organizing a protest in Green Bay, WI Thursday morning near the High School where President Obama and Gov. James Doyle, (you know, the guy who in 2003 said: "My mind will be open to every solution except one. We should not, we must not and I will not raise taxes." ), will be conducting their Town Hall meeting.

It would be a great and very important factor in our Recall Doyle effort to take our concerns for our State NATIONAL at this event where there is certain to be hungry press looking for stories of importance. Will you come and bring everybody you can to our Green Bay protest this Thursday?

We are meeting and parking our vehicles at Sam’s Club parking lot near the corner of W. Mason St. and Packerland Dr., see map below, between 6:15 and 7:15 A.M., June 11th, Thursday Morning. But if you can’t make it that early, if you can make to the Sam’s Club parking lot, by 9:30 A.M. we will be MORE THAN HAPPY to see you and get you placed all along W. Mason St., from the Hwy. 41 ramps leading up to the South West High School area where the Town Hall meeting is being held.

With regards to the $6.7 BILLION Dollar Deficit, that Jim Doyle and his spend/spend budget caused, to most Wisconsin citizen’s: “Our minds are open to every solution except one. We Should Not, We Must Not, and We Will NOT Allow Governor Doyle to Raise our Taxes by Stay in Office.”

Jerry Bader's plans

Starting at 8, Jerry will be at Beaver Dam Park on Hobart off of W. Point east of Packerland. About 10:15, we will proceed via W. Point to Packerland on foot and stay there until about noon. Timing is critical — we must be in place by 11:10! Please remember to be courteous, EVEN TO THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH YOU! And please remember to respect people’s property…

My thoughts

We try to get all the different groups to march back to Bever Dam Park for a mass joint gathering. Give the press a chance to see us in force.

Then a 6:00 pm there will be second gathering so we can add in all those who do to work and other reasons could not make it earlier.

Bring your camcorders and camera's because we will have to document this ourselves. We can not rely on the mainstream media we need to flood youtube with video of the backlash Obama is causing.

I would love to be a part of both the protest against Obama and the Recall Doyle assembly. I think they are both socialists. I am glad someone is standing up and saying enough is enough. I work 4 part-time jobs while going to school full-time. I still do not agree with government spending the way it currently does. People need to work for what they have. I thank you for standing up for conservative values and the constitution.
