Tom Barrett and Abortion

Wisconsin Right to Life exposes the pro-abortion extremism of Tom Barrett.

Barrett's voting record reveals that he's deep in the tank for the pro-abortion lobby.

The longer Barrett served in office the more consistently he cast pro-abortion votes.

For instance, as a member of the 107th Congress - 2001-2002, he voted against the right to life position 16 out of 16 votes cast.

 Voted pro-abortion against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, legislation to
recognize unborn children as separate victims when they are killed or injured as a
result of violence inflicted upon their pregnant mothers.

 Voted pro-abortion against the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.

 Voted anti-life to allow human cloning.

 Voted pro-abortion to allow transportation of a minor girl across state lines to obtain a secret abortion without her parents' knowledge or consent.

 Voted pro-abortion to allow the use of federal tax dollars for abortions in military hospitals for prison inmates, and for women overseas.

 Voted pro-abortion against the Abortion Non-Discrimination Act.

Democrat Barrett is Catholic, yet he doesn't walk the walk.

Look at his voting record. How could Barrett vote against the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act? He had a chance to show his opposition to this ghastly procedure, but he was on board with it. Inexcusable.

Barrett has been rewarded for his radicalism when it comes to supporting abortion. He was the beneficiary of two pro-abortion fundraisers.

Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Tom Barrett will benefit from two pro-abortion fundraisers this week featuring Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business. On Wednesday and Thursday, Richards will be the keynote speaker at two Barrett events.

Pro-Life Wisconsin informed LifeNews.com of the events and said it plans to protest them.

The collaboration features Richards, Governor Jim Doyle, a Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin lifetime achievement award recipient, and Barrett, the Milwaukee mayor Planned Parenthood has endorsed for governor.

"Does Tom Barrett really want Planned Parenthood’s blood on his hands?” asked Peggy Hamill, state director of the pro-life group. “Planned Parenthood’s theme of ‘Moving Wisconsin Forward’ is disrespectful to the thousands of babies they kill every year, babies who will never ‘Move Forward’ in Wisconsin.”

“The communities in which these events will be held – at the homes of Planned Parenthood supporters – will not be able to ignore Planned Parenthood’s destructive agenda,” Hamill added. “I encourage all concerned citizens to join our Pro-Life Wisconsin staff, board and people from all over Wisconsin in these peaceful protests.”

Chris and Miriam Abele of Milwaukee are hosting the first Barrett-Planned Parenthood fundraiser while Peggy Hedberg of Madison is hosting the second.

...Wisconsin Right to Life legislative director Susan Armacost chimed in and added, "If people care about protecting human life, they shouldn't vote for Tom Barrett."

"Barrett is a pro-abortion James Doyle re-run – magnified – on right-to-life issues. Barrett voted pro-abortion throughout his entire legislative career including keeping minor girls’ abortions a secret from parents and keeping partial-birth abortions legal. Radical pro-abortion organizations like Planned Parenthood can always rely on Barrett to support its deadly agenda and hves given him their enthusiastic endorsement," Armacost continued.

Read Barrett's extremist pro-abortion record.

It's scary.

Armacost gets to the heart of the matter: "If people care about protecting human life, they shouldn't vote for Tom Barrett."

"...allow human cloning...."

Come on. That's not really true now, is it?

Plus, when I hear the words "pro-abortion extremist" I picture a mad doctor running around city streets with chloroform and a scalpel, performing surgery on every unsuspecting pregnant woman he sees. Now that's extreme. Oh, wait. WITHOUT chloroform would be even MORE extreme. No, wait. Getting them pregnant first for the sole purpose of chloroformless abortion, yes, that would be extreme.

Yes, it's true.

Tom Barrett voted NO on the Human Cloning Prohibition Act, along with his Wisconsin Democrat colleagues - Tammy Baldwin, Ron Kind, Gerald Kleczka, and David Obey.

That's extreme.

Anyone who supports such a gruesome procedure as partial-birth abortion is an extremist.

Obviously, we have different definitions of extreme.

I think this is extreme:

Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.

The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.

The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.

The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.

The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

Tom Barrett voted FOR this procedure. It makes me sick.

P.S. Thanks for your comment and encouraging me to do some research on pro-human cloning Barrett.
