Doug Jones Defeats Roy Moore

Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!

To say Roy Moore was a flawed candidate is an understatement.

It's bad for Republicans that they lost a vote in the Senate for two years, but you would think that Doug Jones will need to swing to the right if he wants a chance at winning when he's up for election in 2020.

Moore's loss is good for Republicans in that they don't have to deal with the ethics probe thing.

I'm so glad this election is over.
