Jimmy Fallon: No Trump, No Politics Monologue

Jimmy Fallon's monologue on Friday night was shocking. It was such a departure from the usual material.

He did an entire monologue without mentioning President Trump.

It was like watching one of his early Tonight Show episodes. It was a time warp.

It was great!

I thought "Thank You Notes" would bring out the typical anti-Trump stuff. Certainly some mockery would be directed at Trump.

Nope.

Maybe Fallon is steering the show back to its more apolitical beginnings.

I would welcome that.

I just want to laugh. I want to have fun. I want a break.
