Okay, yes -- Trump shouldn't call them "shithole countries." A little respect is in order. They are shithole nations.

What the ninnies are forgetting about the 'shithole' comment: Trump said it in a closed meeting and then dem senators ran out and tattled on him. I'm guessing dozens of our presidents have used vulgarity in candid meetings. There just used to be a code about keeping it private.

I’m confused how we got automatically from him saying some countries are “s***holes” to the press saying he called immigrants from those countries s***. Maybe he means that, but a leap is required. https://t.co/uvdWArJQzY

And every “sanctuary city” will devolve into a 💩hole city. Democrats destroy everything they touch. It’s a guarantee...

What a real #shithole looks like: Our trashed southern border. pic.twitter.com/BpiOeVmRzb

OK. Now we all have to weigh in on Trump and his "shithole countries" comment.
I would have a big problem with Trump using that term in any public forum. If he chose to use that term in his State of the Union speech, that would be outrageous. Saying that in a closed-door meeting is different. It's still inappropriate and unacceptable, but different. For instance, when Obama brazenly mocked Special Olympics athletes on The Tonight Show, he was delivering remarks for the nation and world to hear. Spare me the outrage directed at Trump.
Trump has to realize that he is THE target and anything he utters will be used to harm him. He can't say offensive things and assume his comments won't become public.
