James Franco had a good night at the Golden Globes, but not on Twitter.
From the Daily Beast:
On Sunday night, actress Ally Sheedy logged on to Twitter with her receipts on hand, ready to call out the hypocrisy of a progressive awards show in which black tuxedoed alleged predators are able to hide in plain sight. At the beginning of the broadcast, the Breakfast Club actress tweeted, “Why is a man hosting? Why is James Franco allowed in? Said too much. Nite love ya.” An hour later, she wrote, “Ok wait. Bye. Christian Slater and James Franco at a table on @goldenglobes #MeToo” followed by, “James Franco just won. Please never ever ask me why I left the film/tv business.” (Sheedy has since deleted the tweets, and has not responded to requests for comment.)
I don't think it's brave to throw out some cryptic tweets and then delete them. It's irresponsible.
If Sheedy has a story to tell about Franco, she can choose to tell it. Making vague accusations doesn't help at all.
