From The Hill:
Activists marched through Brussels on Saturday to protest President Trump’s upcoming visit, with many carrying anti-Trump banners and proclaiming that the president is “not welcome” in the country. All these anti-Trump protesters with their goofy giant puppets and balloons cannot claim to be pro-America.
Trump is scheduled to appear at the NATO summit in Brussels next week after ramping up his criticism of the alliance.
Marchers hit Trump over his trade policies, demand for more military spending from NATO countries, immigration policies and decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate deal, according to The Associated Press.
Photos and video from the march show protestors carrying banners reading “Pro-America, Anti-Trump” and “Make Peace Great Again.”
Giant puppets of Trump and Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel also made an appearance.
The American people chose Trump to be the president.
We had an election. Trump won.
Activists in Europe don't like it.
So what?
NATO members should pay their fair share. Why should we give our tax dollars to protect them more than they're willing to protect themselves?
If Trump isn't welcome, then our money shouldn't be welcome.
