On NBC's Saturday Night Live, Pete Davidson mocks GOP Congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw for losing his eye in war: “You may be surprised to hear he’s a Congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie. I’m sorry, I know he lost his eye in war, or whatever.” pic.twitter.com/krQwesqLAV

Saturday Night Live isn't funny.
There used to be some political balance, making the show watchable and sometimes even enjoyable.
"Weekend Update" is the worst.
American hero and Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives Dan Crenshaw responded.
Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended. That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes.

Our veterans deserve better than the way they're treated by the Leftists of SNL.
What was even more gut wrenching was hearing the audience laughter after such a horrible joke...my husband was blinded in Afghanistan, almost gave his life - He and Dan Crenshaw put our nation first and they are my heroes. I will never watch SNL again. It made my stomach turn. https://t.co/NrRAHi3xvK

So hurtful.
I hope our vets know that there are millions of Americans who honor their service and sacrifice, just not on NBC.
