Scott McCallum was never elected governor of Wisconsin. He stepped in to finish Tommy Thompson's term. He failed to win election to the office.
It's true McCallum was the governor and a Republican, but I certainly don't think of him as a leader.
McCallum can say whatever he wants. He can call on Governor Walker to veto legislation.
I was elected governor of Wisconsin as many times as McCallum. My opinion counts, too. I call on Governor Walker to sign bills protecting reforms. Failing to do so would be a betrayal.
Unintimidated?
I hope so.
