Biden's Big Night - Confuses Wife and Sister

Joe Biden explains his confusion by saying "They switched on me."

Jill Biden and Valerie Biden didn't switch places. His sister was at Biden's left and his wife at his right the entire time.

Clearly, Biden is sensitive about racking up more gaffes on the highlight reel. He felt the need to offer an excuse.

That flub really wasn't that bad. I'm sure he's able to tell them apart. It was just another unfortunate goof adding to his already towering mountain of goofs.

Without question, Biden was the big winner on Tuesday.

His campaign turnaround, in roughly 72 hours, was impressive.

The problem: He's still the same Biden - frail and confused, basically not up to the job.

In his remarks Tuesday night, he was shouting, as if hoping loudness would disguise his doddering.

Biden slurred some of his words. Although he was certainly energized by his remarkable success, he seemed weak, as if he was straining to muster an appearance of strength. His mulligan on delivering the Declaration of Independence was cringeworthy.

Biden hasn't changed in the last few days.

What has changed is the Democrat party's decision to prop up Biden.

He's still frail, still confused, still corrupt.

Apparently, anybody but Bernie.
