Connecticut's governor, Ned Lamont got caught lying about the death of an infant. According to Candace Owens, the baby did not die of COVID-19.

Here it is! @GovNedLamont pressed today about my earlier report that he LIED about the infant #coronavirus death. Look at this coward as he’s too scared to answer—now claiming they have no idea how the baby died!

It was an at-home tragedy. He should be forced to RESIGN for this pic.twitter.com/lJ2ohO7Gv9
It's possible for a deceased person to test positive for COVID-19 without the virus being the cause of death. When an accident results in the death of a person, and that person is determined to be positive for the virus, it's crazy to claim the virus was the cause of death.
Here's another case of questionably attributing cause of death to COVID-19:
Georgia Department of Public Health officials have walked back their earlier report that an 11 year old had died from #coronavirus. He would have been the youngest victim in the state.

Just a “reporting error”. Like all the rest of them.https://t.co/kVzSIaWHSS
And another:
After Los Angeles got caught LYING about the teen death from coronavirus they issued this statement.
