Mark D. Levine, Chair of the New York City Council health committee, failed to protect the health of the citizens he is meant to serve.

Chants of "Be strong Wuhan!"
Levine encouraged New Yorkers to gather in huge crowds. That was a terrible mistake.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told New Yorkers on March 10, that the virus was "like a common cold or flu." No big deal for most New Yorkers. He said transmission of the virus is not that easy, "direct transmission of fluids" is necessary to become ill.

“If you’re under 50 & you’re healthy, which is most New Yorkers, there’s very little threat here. This disease, even if you were to get it, basically acts like a common cold or flu.”pic.twitter.com/azfGg0dnyK
Without question, New York's leaders failed the people of the city. They need to be held accountable.
China, too, needs to be held accountable. The world, the lives of billions of people, would be much different on this Palm Sunday if Wuhan and the Chinese Communist regime had been forthright about the virus.
