The FBI wanted to close "Crossfire Razor" because it found "no derogatory information" on Michael Flynn while investigating his Russian contacts.

The corrupt Peter Strzok intervened to keep it alive.

He was desperate to overthrow a duly elected president. If he couldn't get done, the scandal of the coup and the spying would unravel.

And it is.
