Jenny Durkan Ends 'Summer of Love'

Poor Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan. She claimed the "autonomous zone" of CHAZ/CHOP would be a festive place, saying it would be a "summer of love."

After the violent weekend in that bit of utopia, including shootings and murder, Durkan is moving to dismantle the zone of love.

Seattle's mayor on Monday dramatically reversed course on the city's police-free zone after a weekend of deadly violence, saying the lawless, make-shift protest area would be dismantled and officers sent in to restore order.

"There should be no place in Seattle that the Seattle Fire Department and the Seattle Police Department can't go," Mayor Jenny Durkan told a news conference as she announced plans to end the "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" zone, also known by its acronym CHOP.

Democrat Durkan is a fool.

Democrat-run cities are a mess.

Only idiots put out the welcome mat for anarchists.

I hope the lawlessness promoted by Democrat mayors and governors will open people's eyes. I hope they wake up and take notice of the endless string of terrible decisions made by these Democrat leaders.

Vote these Democrats out.
